CAST OF CHARACTERS

summer ART wouldn't be complete with out puppets!
We start off with paper mache, wait a day and then we paint.
Topped  off with beads, yarn, baubles and tissue.
The selection of materials is always different depending
on our mood and what tempts us.
I love how they progress into characters filled with personality and vivre!
There's something about this line up that cracked us all up.
AND we all need a little more of THAT!

beehive kids and their puppets

I took many many  photographs of this great group of kids,
their mission was to crack me up with their expressions.
We just completed an 8 week class,
just in time to add finishing touches to their puppets.

I also really like the way the puppets look before paint.
Cardboard and newspaper.  Simple.

puppet love

We're creating the best
bunch of puppets EVER!
We measured, cut, snipped and glued
hair, hairdo's and faces today.
 Oooooo,
how I love puppets
at the studio.
It's like having a whole
new batch of friends,
paper mache style.

Paper mache hooks make me smile.
